We are just back from a three generations trip with my 82 year old father, Willie’s grandpa, hunting the North Western Ruahines. The old boy did amazingly well considering he’s got buggered knees and never gave up, despite leaving one hut at 6am in the morning, and not getting to the next one until midnight in the pouring rain - a total of 18 hours on the go across some pretty rugged terrain!

Good luck for the roar and don’t forget to watch the Show!

Greg
