Well, you can see by the cover of this issue what we got up to over the bugle, and we had some fun in the Sika roar as well which you’ll read about in the future. I hope you all “got amongst it” and have some great memories from the roar of 2012!
Waterfowl opening has been and gone and the NZ Hunter crew had the pleasure of hunting with Tim and Hunter Grounds for the opening week. Now Tim and Hunter are the greatest duck and goose callers in the world and we learnt so much in the five days we hunted with them. There’s still plenty of the waterfowl season left in the South Island at least, the Tahr ballots are in full swing, and the Rusa and Sambar ruts are just round the corner. So get away from the fire and get into those hills!
