It’s here! The roar! We got a cancellation 2nd period Wapiti block to make up for the computer error in the ballot, and had a great trip to the Upper Glaisnock.

Tahr Show is on again

You’ll see this year we have slightly earlier confirmation the Tahr Show is on again, so keep the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of August free, and head for Christchurch. There are some exciting new competitions with some awesome prizes this year, one of which is a lucky draw for a rifle for every set of varmint ears you hand it – possum, stoat, ferret, weasel, rabbit etc - and we’ll keep you informed as more information comes to hand. We’ll be holding the NZ Hunter Live Duck and Goose calling champs there again, and there’ll be the trophy and photo competitions as usual.

Subscriber, Spot the Logo and Tightlines Competition Winners

The spot the logo winners last issue were Nathan Shirley and Carol Keen. The logos were on the Universal Game Caller ad on page 9, and the Hornady American Whitetail ammo ad on page 37.

Good luck for the rest of the roar, identify your target at all costs, and hot barrels for May 3rd!
